E-AutoBook Process:
Phase 1 – Gathering Trade-In Data and Generating a Lead
1. The E-AutoBook process begins with asking the customer what type of vehicle they are interested in appraising. The first page consists of gathering the following information:
a. Year
b. Make
c. Model
d. Trim
2. After providing their vehicle data, the customer is then asked to input the mileage on their vehicle, their zip code and select a number of options for the vehicle to better help you gauge the true market value. Most importantly the condition of the vehicle is rated using four industry standard choices: Poor, Fair, Good, and Excellent. E-AutoBook provides you with all this data so your used car manager can be well prepared when offering the customer a value range for their vehicle.
3. The next step in the process asks the customer what vehicle they wish to purchase. The customer is able to select any new or used make available on your lot. The customer selects the vehicle down to the trim level. E-AutoBook provides you with both the customer's trade-in and purchase request information, so when you receive the lead, you will know everything you need to turn this lead into a sale.
4. The following page is the contact information page where the customer provides you with the following pieces of data:
a. Name
b. Email Address
c. Phone Nmuber
5. The last page of the E-AutoBook process offers the customer an opportunity to schedule a free vehicle inspection at the dealership. This product component is extremely valuable because not only will you have the customer in the dealership to sell them a car, but will be able to give a firm value for their trade-in after your used car manager has appraised the vehicle as well.
